A multi-talented performer, Isabella Valette is a professionally trained singer, dancer, actor, and improviser whose talents extend to writing critically-acclaimed solo shows. Her performances feature a dynamic mix of hilarious characters, witty original songs, insightful observations, sharp-tongued stand-up, and entertaining true stories that lead to chaotic, hysterical, and unforgettable ends. Described as ‘sharp, sexy with sassiness spilling out of the room,’ Isabella is swiftly emerging as one of Australia’s most promising talents, boasting a unique skill set that sets her apart from the crowd.
Trained at the esteemed UK institution, The Arts Educational School London, presided over by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Isabella has performed in numerous festivals worldwide. Her credits include Impromptunes at Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Underbelly), Solo shows at Adelaide Fringe (Gluttony), Impromptunes at Perth Fringeworld (Spiegeltent), Solo shows at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and Melbourne Cabaret Festival. Isabella has been a senior member of the acclaimed musical improvisation troupes Impromptunes since 2014 and The Big Hoo Haa since 2015.
In 2020, Isabella won Best Solo Show at the Hobart “Fringe At The Edge of the World,’ for her solo "How Far I'll Go," directed by Declan Fay.
She just recently received a nomination for Best Cabaret for her latest show, ‘Cabaret Unscripted’ at the Melbourne Fringe, an honour she received alongside an collection of 9 Judge's Picks across 2023 and 2024.
‘Cabaret Unscripted’ has since been nominated for two Green Room Awards, Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Musical Direction, winning the latter in 2024.
